Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026-08-16
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern use of Patrol Trainer (“Patrol Trainer,” “we,” “us”), a workforce training and communications platform operated by P4 Security Solutions LLC and provided to public safety agencies and private security firms and their personnel. By accessing or using the platform at www.patroltrainer.com, or by opting in to receive messages from it, you agree to these Terms.
Messaging Terms (SMS)
These terms apply to the Patrol Trainer Notifications SMS program.
- Program name
- Patrol Trainer Notifications.
- Program description
- Operational and account-related text messages sent by an agency to its own enrolled officers and staff — including two-factor login codes, account and invitation notices, training assignment and reminder alerts, supervisor broadcasts, and use-of-force review outcomes. Officers are enrolled when their agency supervisor invites them by name and mobile number and attests SMS consent; the officer’s invitation and login one-time codes are transactional messages delivered as part of this program, and the officer can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP or from account settings. This is not a marketing or promotional program.
- Message frequency
- Message frequency varies by agency and by the recipient’s role and assignments; a typical recipient receives approximately 2–10 messages per month.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply. Patrol Trainer does not charge for the messages; your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.
- How to opt out
- Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. After you send STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. You can also turn off SMS from your in-app account settings, or ask your supervisor to disable it.
- How to get help
- Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at zwhitaker@p4secure.com. For opt-out or account help specific to your agency, contact your supervisor or agency administrator.
- Carriers
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent & privacy
- Opt-in is affirmative and is never a condition of employment. For officers, consent is attested by their agency supervisor at invite, and the officer can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP or from account settings. Full opt-in detail is on our SMS Consent & Opt-in page, and data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in and consent data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
Use of the platform
- Accounts. Access is provided to personnel invited by a participating agency. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Acceptable use. Use the platform only for its intended training and operational purposes and in compliance with applicable law and your agency’s policies. Do not attempt to access other agencies’ data, disrupt the service, or misuse it.
- Content. Training materials, scenarios, and platform software are owned by Patrol Trainer or its licensors. Content your agency uploads remains your agency’s.
Disclaimers & liability
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Training content supports, and does not replace, an agency’s own policies, judgment, and legal obligations.
AI-generated content. Patrol Trainer uses artificial intelligence to generate certain content, including exams, orders, compliance modules, scenario debriefs, and training-video scripts. This content is produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions; it is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current, is not legal advice, and is not POST-certified or otherwise accredited training. Your agency is responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before any operational or training use, and remains responsible for compliance with its own policies, applicable POST/state training requirements, and law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Patrol Trainer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or the messages sent through it.
General terms
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
- Venue. The state and federal courts located in Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with any order form or written agreement between P4 Security Solutions LLC and your agency, constitute the entire agreement regarding the platform and supersede any prior understandings on that subject.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
